Dead turn webbing | TMW

Addition of a dead turn on a line in the strap attached to the canopy

  • 14 mm

This is the average shortening obtained with this intervention on a standard high line (ø 1.3 mm sheathed) connected to a standard attachment strap.

We have named this intervention TMW (“Tour Mort” Webbing). One must find a name…

Corrections of the stabilizers

This TMW intervention is very localized, which is quite practical for correcting the stabilizers.

Given the long lever arm, asymmetrical stabilizers deviate the trajectory, all the more so if one accelerates!

If a correction in the maillon is not enough, it’s the first thing to do.

We start by doing the interventions close to the canopy.
It’s not easy to have to undo dead towers in the suspension connections to add interventions!

This TMW intervention is the most complicated, because it requires a bit of skill and especially to dismantle many lines!
